This past Saturday evening and Sunday I made some jokes and laughed with others about the failure of the predicted "Judgement Day" to take place. On Tuesday someone sent me a Top Ten List from David Letterman listing ten excuses about why the prediction was wrong and I chuckled with others again. Likely there was other joking that took place I don't even remember now.
Was this appropriate on my part? I had found myself struggling a bit this week about the rightness of my participation. Today I read this post by Mike Wittmer and understood I think what I was experiencing. I think you will find it helpful as well.
